Aviation Concepts Technical Services, Inc. (ACTSI) receives CAAP Approval
Philippines – March 14, 2022. Aviation Concepts Technical Services, Inc. (ACTSI) is pleased to announce that we have recently completed and obtained an Approved Maintenance Organization (AMO) Certificate from the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP). AMO Certificate No. 194-22 was issued on February 22, 2022.
“Working very closely with the CAAP inspectors for the past several months has allowed ACTSI to position itself better to support RPC registered customer’s aircraft in the region that fit our Operations Specifications says Stephen Klohr, Director of Quality for ACTSI. “In addition, under the CAAP AMO authority, we’ve been able to expand our scope of work to include other OEM’s product line. We’re looking at the demand here in the Philippine region so we can better serve the aviation community and keep pace with requests from our clients and their specific model needs. We have the foundation set for scope of work and foresee those capabilities increasing as we move forward”.
ACTSI has also recently completed the Cayman AMO, CAMO, and Bermuda AMO renewal audits and has received the renewal certificates for all three.
The Cayman audit was conducted onsite in person at the Subic Bay repair station with the Cayman auditor on February 24th. The Bermuda renewal was done remotely via a desktop audit on February 28th.
“Our close collaboration with both the Cayman and Bermuda authorities allows ACTSI to maintain the approvals for each and continue our focus on ways to better provide a safe and quality product to our customers registered in those countries and those operating in the APAC region. We’re seeing more face to face interaction with all authorities now that travel restrictions are easing.”, said Stephen Klohr.
